El Turó Blau és un petit cim de 310 metres sobre el nivell del mar. Junt amb el Turó d'en Segarra i el Turó de les Roquetes conformen el sector més oriental de la Serra de Collserola al seu vessant barceloní. Es troba a cavall dels municipis de Barcelona i Montcada i Reixac. A l'obaga dels tres turons trobem formacions de garriga en diferents estadis de desenvolupament on podem trobar espècies com el Tallarol gros (Sylvia borin) o el Tallarol de garriga (Sylvia cantillans). El solell, més sec, esta dominat per zones herbàcies amb predomini de l'albellatge ((Hyparrhenia hirta) on ocells com el Trist (Cisticola juncidis), el Bitxac (Saxicola torquatus) o el Tallarol capnegre (Sylvia melanocaphala) o el Xot (Otus scops) hi troben refugi. A les zones més boscanes hi abunden la Bosqueta vulgar (Hippolais polyglotta), el Pinsà comú (Fringilla coelebs), el Bruel (Regulus ignacapilla) o la Mallarenga emplomallada (Parus cristatus).
The Turó Blau is a 310 meters height hill. It is located in the border from Barcelona and Montcada i Reixac municipalities. At the Northern part of the hill it is found a splendorous garriga of different densities where is easy to locate Garden Warbler (Sylvia borin) and Subalpine Warbler (Sylvia cantillans). At the Southern part, much more dry, there are a herbaceous community with the scarce Hyparrhenia hirta as the dominant plant. In these patches nest birds like Ziting Cisticola (Cisticola juncidis), Stonechat (Saxicola torquatus), Sardinian Warbler (Sylvia melanocephala) and Scops Owl (Otus scops). In the forestry we find Melodious Warbler (Hippolais polyglotta), Chaffinch (Fringilla coelebs), Firecrest (Regulus ignacapilla) and Crested Tit (Parus cristatus).
